Three Year Old Classroom

Threes Room (36 months to 4 years)

Staff/Child Ratio 1:10; Maximum class size: 20

Similar to the Twos Room, our Threes Room has a consistent daily routine.  This includes daily circle time, choice “free play” in learning centers, music, art activities, and dedicated gross motor activity times.  They also have the opportunity to practice social skills as they play in the housekeeping area, learn to work cooperatively with materials in the block area, and develop pre-reading skills in the book area.  Through this consistent daily routine, they learn to predict outcomes and follow patterns.

Our three year olds do have regular meal and snack times, and they are the youngest class utilizing our colorful Cafeteria.  Children must be potty-trained to move to the threes room.  The Threes Room is led by Karon Sidener and Kearstyn Tucker.  While they are both newer additions to our St. Paul’s ELC team, they each have several years of early childhood education experience.
